Jun Ioneda is a Brazilian graphic artist based in Barcelona whose work blends science fiction, fantasy, queer themes and Japanese influences. His art features expressive characters who express contrasting moods – whimsical meets somber, or fun flirts with introspection. He leads illustration projects both as a solo multidisciplinary artist and as head of his own studio, BARCA, while also teaching Illustration and Art Direction at Aprender Design and the Barcelona School of Arts and Design (LABASAD).
