Christoph Niemann is an artist, author and animator. His illustrations are frequently featured on the covers of The New Yorker and The New York Times Magazine.

Clients include Hermès, Google, LAMY, and MoMA. Niemann’s oeuvre has been shown in numerous museum retrospectives. He has drawn live from the Venice Art Biennale and the London Olympics, and he sketched the New York City Marathon — while actually running it. He has created several site-specific art works in places and is the author of numerous books, including Idea Diary – a collection of humorous drawings depicting the variety of Niemann’s mode of storytelling. His most recent book DRAW invites children and adults alike to explore their own creativity and doodle away.
