Lorenzo Fonda

Lorenzo Fonda is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Italy. His work employs many different media and ranges from absurd comedy to highly stylized concepts. He has directed commercials, music videos, and short films, and at the same time has helmed documentaries like Megunica, about the mural artist and animator Blu. He’s been director of animation for the acclaimed documentary A Glitch in the Matrix. His wife Elena Xausa, who passed away in late 2022, was an extraordinary artist and illustrator. In his talk Lorenzo will present the artistic and creative projects that he and his community created in order to celebrate Elena’s life and creative legacy.
