Silvia Casali aka PuffyPuffPuff loves to change things up – leaving Italy for Romania and now living in the UK, she has worked in the domains of motion, character and toy design, while her current focus is on 3D printing. The one constant is her love for cuteness, fluffiness, and cuddliness. Her PuffyPuffPuff universe is based on this love; the big, longing eyes of her characters connect to viewers through the screen, their smiles coaxing a smile back and an instant hit of dopamine. Casali refuses layers of meaning and seeks to work beyond contradictions and contrasts, to transmit pure, cosy comfort. Her work celebrates the frivolous and lightweight as a luxury everyone should be allowed to enjoy.
