Chris Haugthon
Chris Haughton is an Irish author and illustrator based in London. He was listed in Time Magazine’s ‘Design 100’ for the work he has done for fair trade clothing company People Tree. Chris has written and illustrated seven books including A Bit Lost and SHH! We Have a Plan, created the app Hatmonkey and the virtual reality experience Little Earth. His non-fiction title The History of Information, published by Dorling Kindersley in 2024, traces the history and evolution of communication and information technology from pre-historic drawing through to print, radio, computers and the Internet. Understanding how they unfolded and the revolutions they triggered puts the current debate about AI into perspective. In the midst of this current revolution, the story of how we have always striven to assist or enhance human intelligence offers us a glimpse into our own future.
