Moki
Moki studied fine arts at HfbK Hamburg and now lives and works in Berlin, mainly as a painter. She also makes graphic novels, sculptures, photographs and children’s books. Escapism, climate change and the Anthropocene are themes that are reflected in her work. In 2020, she was awarded the prize for the most beautiful German children’s book for Die Wundersamen Zwölf (The Wondrous Twelve), alongside author Rae Mariz. She is part of the Spring Collective, which publishes an annual monothematic book with narrative drawings, and her works are represented in various art collections. She has exhibited at Feinkunst Krüger Hamburg, Hiromart Tokyo, Nucleus San Francisco and many other galleries.
