Yiğit Soncul
Yiğit Soncul lectures on visual and material dimensions of media and politics at the University of the Arts London and Winchester School of Art. He wrote his PhD dissertation entitled Facial Politics of Images and Media: Mask, Body, Immunity with the Archeologies of Media and Technology research group at WSA. Previously a visiting fellow at the University of Sydney, his texts have appeared in the journals Theory, Culture & Society, Between and Paletten, and the edited collection Affect and Social Media (Rowman Littlefield 2018). He is the co-editor of the parallax (26/1) special issue, ‘Networked Liminality’ (2020).
