The Wedding district has only few hotels, we can recommend two serviced apartments and there are many hostels, some further out from the city centre. 
 

Downtown Apartments Wedding

Gerichtstraße 56, 13347 Berlin

Among the closest you can stay to silent green, modern serviced apartments on Martha-Ndumbe-Platz with a variety of food places. Not cheap!
 
 
 

iPartment Berlin Mitte

Pankstraße 9, 13347 Berlin
Just as close to the venues as Downtown, off the Martha-Ndumbe-Platz on Pankstraße. All featured artists of the 2025 conference stayed here and all liked it. Could be more affordable than Downtown.
 
 

 
Moxy Berlin Humboldthain

Hochstraße 2, Mitte, 13357 Berlin
A casual hotel of the Marriott chain just off the busy Badstraße, a heaven for all lovers of Turkish and Arabian food. It will be a 20 minute walk to the Academy venues.
 
 
 

AC Hotel Berlin Humboldthain

Hochstraße 3, Mitte, 13357 Berlin
Marriot runs another similar hotel next door. 
 
 
 

Hotel Citylight Berlin

Around the corner from Moxy and AC, just more basic.

A hostel a little further out from the city centre, offering single, double and group rooms. 
 
 

Big Mama Berlin

Even further out than Steps, another hostel with different categories. We know from a female alumni who stayed in a group room and was put up with male strangers, which we don’t want to encourage. There are several hostels in this area. Be aware the area is less populated at nights than downtown. 
 
 
 

Hotel Graf Pückler Berlin

Not the most modern, private hotel, 20 minutes walking distance from the Academy venues. Closer to the city centre. 
 
 
 
 
 
 

The following refers to hotels in Mitte around the stations Naturkundemuseum and Oranienburger Tor, where you can take the U6 with only a few stops to Wedding. The area is still close enough for a 30 minute walk.
