Fabian Mosele is an Italian animator and synthographer who explores character animation and generative media within themes of identity.

Most recently, they became known as one of the creators behind the Italian Brainrot meme. Having written about this rebellious weird internet folklore and generated viral videos that got turned into reality, Fabian plays with a new kind of characters with no ownership and infused in slop.

Using parody, satire and the remix of internet phenomenas, Fabian critiques the pitfalls of generative models. They experiment with the boundaries of generative tools blended with animation in films like “reflection of a reflection of a reflection” (2023) and “Democratizing Synthiola” (2024).
