Grant Orchard

Grant Orchard is a London based animator with over 25 years’ experience directing, designing and writing. After creating a myriad of striking TV spots for brands such as MTV, the Science Museum and Orange, he experimented in digital reductionism with his series of LOVE SPORT films in the early 2000’s, followed by his Oscar nominated and Bafta and Sundance winning short film A MORNING STROLL in 2012. He followed this up with design work on the first season of The Amazing World of Gumball and the creation of STUDIO AKA’s hugely popular pre-school show HEY DUGGEE, which is now in its 5th season. Hey Duggee is the only children’s show ever to be given its own exhibition at the Design Museum.
