Loreta Isac
MD
Loreta Isac is an illustrator and animator originally from Moldova, based in Bucharest, Romania. A self-described visual poet, her short, experimental animations transform shapes, objects, words, characters and textures, which dance through rhythm and sound. Watching them feels like reading a poem. Her work doesn’t follow a conventional narrative or chronological sequence. Instead, curiosity and experimentation guide the process, with sound shaping each piece. She has taken part in group exhibitions including Motion Evolving (Beijing, 2023) and Home, A Way of Belonging (Amsterdam, 2024), and her clients include Procreate, Morning Brew, Hermès, Kenzo Perfume, The New York Times and The Washington Post.
