Felicia Chiao

Felicia Chiao is an industrial designer turned illustrator who is currently based in California. She works with traditional mediums such as marker, watercolour, colour pencil and ink to create warm, intricate, and sometimes strange and emotional works. Her preference for solitude is a recurring theme in her work, often reflected in dreamy, introspective compositions that invite viewers into her personal world, populated by a cast of recurring characters. She has shown in galleries from Los Angeles to New York and has worked with clients such as A24 and Universal Music, but she largely prefers to stay home and draw in sketchbooks, some of which have been published and can be found through Paragon Books.
