Paul Andrejco

Artist, designer, filmmaker, and professor Paul Andrejco is the founder of Puppet Heap, an independent New Jersey-based entertainment company specializing in stories told through iconic characters across media. The company began in the early ‘90s beneath a burgeoning “heap” of puppets in Paul’s small Hoboken apartment. Now, just a few blocks away, Puppet Heap is home to many of the industry’s top artists, designers, writers, and producers who create original character-based narratives and develop projects for clients and partners worldwide, including The Walt Disney Company, Sesame Workshop, and Nickelodeon. Paul will share the history, experiences, and behind-the-scenes of Puppet Heap, as well as its current endeavors like “The Heap”, a twelve-foot-tall walking puppet character and multimedia storytelling platform.
