Will Anderson

Will Anderson is a BAFTA-winning filmmaker and animator from Scotland who is based in Edinburgh. Spanning 2D and 3D design, he writes, directs and produces work for film, TV, theatre and online. Character is at the heart of his stories, which often lean into existential themes and are led by process and dialogue. His recent feature documentary A Cat Called Dom (2022), co-directed with Ainslie Henderson, is a very personal film about how Will deals with his mother’s cancer and how meanwhile, the duo work on their animations and face the frustrations of trying to make this documentary. Will’s work has been commissioned and supported by BBC, BFI, MTV, [adult swim] and Warner Bros. Discovery.
