Daisy Collingridge is an artist who studied fashion design at Central St Martins, London and went on to develop a multi-disciplinary practice driven by craft. Her ‘flesh suits’ or Squishies investigate the human form and are an exploration of fabric, form and flesh, straddling sculpture, theatre and art. Her exaggerated bodily forms provoke questions about the body and its potential, and each piece has its own personality. As such, Daisy documents them in their own fantasy world; one that mirrors our own with its mix of melancholy and joy. She is a Sarabande Foundation Artist in Residence and has exhibited at UNIT Gallery and The Bomb Factory, London.
