Maria Filipe Castro aka Droolwool is a Toy Artist from Portugal. She likes to tell tiny stories with a touch of innocence and humour, making her deliciously cute characters portray spontaneous human reactions, being her favorites: pure joy, disappointment and tenderness. Food and Nature are a great inspiration in her work, as she believes they are the key to life’s happiness. She spends her days sculpting for long hours in her medium of choice: felt wool. She exhibits regularly in Galleries specialized in Toy Art and sells her Art Toys on her website.
