Lizz Lunney

Lizz Lunney is an illustrator, comic book artist and comedy writer based in Birmingham, UK. She draws surrealist animals, household objects and items of food, all endowed with the gift of consciousness, exploring various concepts of life and death in humorous settings.

Her comics are published digitally by Top Shelf Productions, print comics in German by Zwerchfell Verlag and in English by Blank Slate Books. She has a range of funny greetings cards sold in stores across the UK and she co-edited The Hic & Hoc Illustrated Journal of Humour Volume 2. Lizz also works within the animation industry including character work for The Brothers McLeod and she is the founder of Birmingham Zine Festival.
