Dante Zaballa

Dante Zaballa is a frame-by-frame animator from Argentina, who likes to experiment with diverse materials such as crayons, acrylics and markers. The time consuming process doesn’t stop him from creating incredibly lively animation with bright characters and explosive colors. His work combines seemingly messy hand-drawn lines, raw shapes and flickering textures, with perfect timing, animation physics and precise movement. As a freelancer he has worked for clients such as Viggle, MTV or Toyota. Currently based in Berlin, together with Matias Vigliano he is co-founder of the Buenos Aires located Parquerama Studios, famed for the experimental short “The Head”, and soon to release the new animation “Big Bang Dog”.
