Jumping Lomo

Jumping Lomo is the duo of Jieying Li (originally from Guangzhou, China) and Guillermo Fajardo, two artists who officially joined forces in 2013 as a design and art studio in Lima. Their first solo show, Los Patroncitos, at Galeria Indigo, featured art-toy sculptures and paintings inspired by patron saint festivals in Peru. Since then, Jieying and Guillermo have been expanding their universe by drawing on their own contrasting heritages and global pop culture. They have participated in fairs and art collectives such as ArtLima, CasaCor, Beijing Toy Show, Expo-Deco, Casa Perú, and have collaborated with brands such as Absolut Vodka, Monskey Maniacs and Great Twins. In 2019, the duo presented their latest solo show, The Awakening of Wiracocha, at Galeria Indigo, where the pluricultural heritage of Peru continues to inspire their awareness of preservation and evolution, connecting different generations with art, crafts, symbology and ancestral worldview.
