Eran Hilleli

Acclaimed Tel Aviv-based animation director Eran Hilleli, famed for merging simple shapes with cinematic flair, is known for his trademark style, influenced by  80s Japanese animation and early video game aesthetics.  Eran and programmer Finn Ericson (known collectively as Iorama.Studio) are currently developing Looom, an App which bills itself as “a new way to create hand-drawn animation”. The software is designed with beginners in mind — it’s an unusually intuitive tool for making animated loops — but pros are also having fun with it.
